About the Origins of QuadraBalls
[This is Jeff speaking]
It's been a long time. Miguel may remember better than I. Migs and I met because we were dating long-time best friends. I will call these two young women "Ellen" and "Beth".
Before Miguel and I ever met (I was living in Cambridge, MA, where I met Beth; and Miguel and Ellen were living in Jersey), the girls used to tell each of us that we (Miguel and I) had a lot in common. They were right. Not long after Beth and I moved to Jersey, Migs and I became fast friends, sharing interests in music, the hobby of photography, and what could only be called an extremely juvenile sense of humor which, thankfully, has survived in both of us to this day.
One day, Ellen and Beth told us about an artists' group they were starting with two other young women — also light-haired. They called themselves QuadraBlondes.
Not to be outdone, Miguel and I thought long and hard, trying to figure out what we had four of. Aha!:
